Furthr & GEC Sustainability Training ♻️

Recently, Furthr and GEC employees completed the 'Environmental Sustainability in the Workplace' program, on behalf of Furthr.

This intensive 25-hour hybrid course, funded by SOLAS (An tSeirbhís Oideachais Leanúnaigh agus Scileanna), provided them with a comprehensive toolkit to bridge the gap between ecological responsibility and operational excellence.

They spent six weeks bridging the gap between 'knowing' and 'doing.'

By analysing our specific environmental footprints, they identified high-impact areas where small operational shifts could lead to major sustainability wins. This wasn't just about ticking a box; it was about redesigning the workflows to ensure our business remains resilient, responsible, and ready for the green economy of the future.

A massive thanks to The Guinness Enterprise Centre for hosting this initiative but most importantly, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to Cliona O'Halloran who conducted the course on behalf of Fifty Shades Greener. Her infectious passion and deep expertise turned every session into an inspiring masterclass; she kept everyone fully engaged with actionable 'green tips' that we are already excited to implement!

Time to walk the 'green walk' now! 🍃
